Job description

Huron helps its clients drive growth, enhance performance and sustain leadership in the markets they serve. We help healthcare organizations build innovation capabilities and accelerate key growth initiatives, enabling organizations to own the future, instead of being disrupted by it. Together, we empower clients to create sustainable growth, optimize internal processes and deliver better consumer outcomes.
Health systems, hospitals and medical clinics are under immense pressure to improve clinical outcomes and reduce the cost of providing patient care. Investing in new partnerships, clinical services and technology is not enough to create meaningful and substantive change. To succeed long-term, healthcare organizations must empower leaders, clinicians, employees, affiliates and communities to build cultures that foster innovation to achieve the best outcomes for patients.
Joining the Huron team means you'll help our clients evolve and adapt to the rapidly changing healthcare environment and optimize existing business operations, improve clinical outcomes, create a more consumer-centric healthcare experience, and drive physician, patient and employee engagement across the enterprise.
Join our team as the expert you are now and create your future.
Huron's Healthcare Transformation Services (HDTx) team works with healthcare organizations to solve their most complex EHR challenges, so we are constantly searching for skilled technical consultants to help our clients maximize their technology investments. Our Senior Consultants come with a wide variety of experience leveraging their technical expertise to help our clients enhance their EHR platform to improve care delivery, patient outcomes and profitability.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of Epic consulting, implementation, optimization, or support experience within a healthcare environment.
  • MyChart certification.
  • Serve as a MyChart generalist with broad knowledge across all areas of the application, including workflows, configuration, support, and optimization.
  • Experience providing production support, including troubleshooting, break-fix resolution, and backlog management.
  • Ability to independently analyze, prioritize, and resolve support tickets in a fast-paced operational environment.
  • Experience supporting rural health initiatives, community health programs, or grant-funded healthcare projects in a client-facing environment.
  • Hands-on experience with Epic MyChart Care Companion workflows, including design, build, optimization, and end-user support.
  • Experience configuring and supporting Epic Cheers Campaigns and patient engagement initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Epic certification or experience in Cheers, or related patient engagement applications.
  • Direct experience implementing or optimizing MyChart Care Companion and Cheers Campaigns within Epic.
  • Familiarity with Epic release upgrades, testing, and post-implementation support activities.
  • Experience transitioning from production support work into larger optimization, enhancement, or implementation projects.
  • Prior experience supporting grant-funded healthcare initiatives or projects focused on improving access to care in rural populations.
  • Previous healthcare consulting experience supporting Epic implementations, enhancements, or optimization efforts.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional client and consulting teams.

The estimated base hourly rate range for this job will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel.
