Professionals in these roles assist with training staff, providing technical support, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring a smooth transition to the new Epic software. These contracts typically last a few weeks to a few months and require familiarity with Epic systems and healthcare workflows. They are ideal for individuals with previous Epic experience or certifications looking for short-term, high-impact work in healthcare IT.

You'll answer user questions, troubleshoot workflow issues, document feedback for optimization, and escalate unresolved technical problems to the appropriate teams. This role is highly collaborative—working closely with nurses, physicians, IT staff, and Epic analysts to ensure a smooth transition and minimal disruption to patient care. Flexibility is key, as shifts often include early mornings, evenings, or weekends to align with hospital go-live schedules.
