Job  Summary:

The Traffic Patrol team plays a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of vehicles, pedestrians, and resort transportation throughout Beaver Creek Resort. This position is responsible for directing traffic, enforcing parking regulations, assisting guests, and providing high-quality customer service while maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for all visitors, residents, and employees.

Job Specifications:

  • Starting Wage: $21.00/hr - $23.73/hr
  • Employment Type: Year Round  
  • Shift Type: Full Time hours available
  • Minimum Age: At least 18 years of age

 Job Responsibilities:

  • Direct and manage traffic flow during peak periods, special events, and emergencies.
  • Enforce resort parking policies, including issuing citations and coordinating with towing/booting services when necessary.
  • Provide clear directions and assistance to guests, homeowners, contractors, and employees regarding parking, shuttle stops, and resort access.
  • Monitor parking lots, garages, and roadways to ensure compliance with resort regulations.
  • Support emergency response efforts by assisting Public Safety, law enforcement, and fire/EMS as directed.
  • Maintain a visible presence in high-traffic areas to deter violations and promote safety.
  • Report incidents, safety hazards, or suspicious activity promptly to supervisors.
  • Assist with special projects, seasonal operations (e.g., ski season, holiday events), and other Public Safety duties as assigned.

Job Requirement:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Prior experience in traffic control, security, law enforcement, or hospitality preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful or fast-paced situations.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions (snow, cold, heat, etc.).
  • Ability to stand for long periods, walk long distances, and lift up to 40 lbs.

The expected pay range is $21.00/hr - $23.73/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
