Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Operating Room – Tyler, TX 75701

Start Date: September 8, 2026

Location: Tyler, Texas

Schedule: Day shift, Monday-Friday, 06:30-15:00 (10-hour shifts with rotating day off). Call required 1-2 shifts every 6 weeks. Two weekend shifts per contract.

Highlights:
  • Operating room position in a 14-room surgical suite with daily census of 45 patients
  • 1:1 patient ratio providing focused, quality perioperative care
  • Exposure to diverse surgical specialties including orthopedic, general, neuro, vascular, and urology cases
  • Opportunity to work with advanced surgical technology including DaVinci robotic systems
  • Minimal call requirements with predictable weekday schedule
  • 13-week travel assignment with comprehensive orientation
Requirements:
  • Active Registered Nurse license (state or compact license required at time of submission)
  • Current BLS certification
  • Minimum 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience
  • Travel nursing experience required
  • Epic charting system experience required
  • Trauma Level I experience required
  • Required surgical experience: Orthopedic, General, Neuro, Vascular, and Urology procedures
  • Preferred experience: DaVinci Robotic surgery, endovascular procedures, and ophthalmic cases
  • Must not reside in the following Texas counties: Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, or Morris
