Job Title: MRI Tech – Medical Imaging

Location: Rapid City, SD 57701

Start Date: August 4, 2025

Assignment Length: 13 weeks

Shift Schedule: 4x10-Hour Variable

Shifts Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week

Weekend Requirement: Yes – independent work required

On-Call Requirement: Yes – schedule discussed during interview

Floating: None

Rate: Local $80/hour = Gross weekly $3200 and Travelers $55/hour on W2 and $1300/40 hours (Per Diem)= Gross weekly $3500

Job Description

The MRI Tech will be responsible for conducting MRI scans in a high-volume medical imaging unit using Siemens and Phillips equipment. This role is ideal for professionals with strong IV skills and experience in cardiac imaging, EPIC charting, and the ability to work independently on weekends and during call shifts.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate Siemens MRI equipment (Phillips experience preferred)
  • Perform routine and cardiac MRIs
  • Insert and manage IVs
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Use EPIC for patient charting and records
  • Maintain safety and care standards for patients during procedures

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of MRI Tech experience
  • ARRT-MRI certification – required
  • BLS certification – required
  • IV skills – required
