Mount Nittany Medical Center is a growing and financially stable non-profit healthcare system in State College, PA seeking (CRNA) Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists in State College, Pennsylvania the home of Penn State University.

Opportunity Details

  • Hospital Employed position (Full-time, Part-time and Casual payroll opportunities)

  • Shift Available: 8, 10, 12 and 16 hours

  • CRNA Call: 3rd call with call ins averaging less than 1 per week

Practice Information

  • 1 Hospital: Mount Nittany Medical Center

    • 12 total OR's, 1 OB OR suite, 4 Endo/GI suites

  • 1 Off-Site Surgery Center: Mount Nittany Health Surgical Center

    • 4 Procedure Rooms

  • 1 Off-Site Endoscopy Center: Mount Nittany Health Outpatient Endoscopy Center

    • Opening July 2026

    • 4 Procedure Rooms

  • Major Service lines include: General, GU, OB, Spine, ENT, GYN, Plastic, Ortho, Vascular

  • Healthy Pediatric Cases (mainly ENT cases)

  • No Open-Heart Surgery and No Heads

  • EMR: Epic

  • Anesthesia Care Team model 100% of the time

  • Join a vibrant group of 11 Anesthesiologists and 20 CRNAs

Compensation Package:

  • W2 : Highly Competitive Salary Compensation based on experience starting at $233,625 up to $298,438

  • Quality/Productivity Bonus $5,000 available annually (increases with seniority)

  • Vacation: 6 Weeks annually (increase with seniority)

  • Holiday(s) 64 hours (8 days) annually

  • CME: 40 hours annually

  • CME allowance $3,500 annually

  • Sign-on bonus of $20,000/2 year up to $50,000/4 year commitment available

Education

1) Bachelor's of Science degree in Nursing.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

  1. Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

  2. Board Certified, Recertified or eligible by the Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists.

  3. Meets the American Heart Association's standards for Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) and renews BLS every two years.

  4. Meets the American Heart Association's standards for Healthcare Provider Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and renews ACLS every two years.

  5. Meets the American Heart Association's standards for Healthcare Provider Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and renews PALS every two years
