Job description

HVAC Lead Installer
Installers are capable of performing (and learning) the full range of installation work that KNA does, including the installation of boilers (hot water heat), split cooling and heat pump systems, furnaces, and ductless systems, and the various distribution and control systems that go with each of these methods of heating and cooling.
Our Installers know how to manage a job site, and how to manage relationships with clients, contractors, and other subcontractors.
  • (Preferred)7+ years of experience as an HVAC/R installer
  • Ability to braze and solder.
  • Ability to follow controls and wiring schematics and to install.
  • Ability to read and comprehend blueprints and other construction documentation.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 100 pounds.
  • Ability to climb ladders and work on rooftops.
  • Ability to perform minor field fabrication, including sheet metal.
  • Valid driver's license in good standing with acceptable driving record.
  • Possess the required standard tool list and keep tools in good repair.
  • Ability to speak and understand English.

Our service area ranges from downtown Boston out to Route 495.
