When a consumer disputes information on their credit report, the dispute is processed through the e-OSCAR system, which allows for standardized communication between credit bureaus and information providers. The system ensures that disputed data is reviewed, verified, and updated as necessary, helping maintain the accuracy of consumer credit reports.
