The Opportunity:

You will serve as a key field leader driving the execution of high-impact commercial, industrial, and federal interior construction projects. This position empowers you to manage field operations on-site while maintaining active, hands-on involvement with your carpentry team. You will enjoy significant operational autonomy within a supportive workplace that values work-life balance and long-term career stability.


How You Will Make an Impact:

  • Supervise and mentor on-site carpentry crews to ensure high-quality field installation.
  • Manage daily execution of metal framing, drywall, insulation, and acoustical ceiling tasks.
  • Perform accurate structural layouts for complex commercial walls and drop ceilings.
  • Work hands-on alongside your crew to maintain strict project timelines and quality metrics.
  • Enforce site safety standards and ensure proper usage of all required personal safety gear.
  • Resolve real-time field challenges to keep daily construction operations moving safely.


Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Must be a United States Citizen to meet federal facility access requirements.
  • Proven leadership experience supervising crews on commercial framing and drywall projects.
  • Expert hands-on capability in metal stud framing, drywall, insulation, and acoustical ceilings.
  • Demonstrated expertise in reading architectural plans and executing wall and ceiling layouts.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% for designated project assignments.


Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

  • 5+ years of related experience as a commercial carpenter or trade foreman.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Experience leading field teams within secure government or federal installations.
  • Hold safety certifications such as OSHA, Fall Protection, or Lift Operations.
