Texas Materials, a CRH company, is hiring an Environmental Manager who is passionate about sustainability and operational excellence. In this high-impact role, you’ll partner with field operations and safety teams to ensure our sites operate responsibly, safely, and in full environmental compliance—helping protect natural resources while supporting critical infrastructure projects across Central Texas.


What You’ll Do

  • Own and drive environmental compliance across multiple plants and job sites
  • Conduct inspections, audits, and compliance reviews to ensure adherence to permits and regulations
  • Manage air, water, and land permitting processes (federal, state, and local)
  • Ensure environmental testing, monitoring, and reporting are accurate and on schedule
  • Lead and support programs related to:
  • Air quality and emissions
  • Stormwater and groundwater compliance
  • Spill prevention and response (SPCC)
  • Hazardous materials and recycling
  • Partner with operations leaders to implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Deliver training and guidance to employees and contractors
  • Monitor regulatory changes and translate them into actionable business practices
  • Support CRH’s sustainability goals and reporting


What You Bring

  • 5+ years of experience in environmental compliance, construction, or related field
  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or similar (preferred)
  • Strong working knowledge of EPA and Texas environmental regulations
  • Highly organized with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to influence, communicate, and build relationships across teams
  • Bilingual Spanish/English (preferred)
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel across Central Texas
