PW Grosser Consulting is seeking an experienced Environmental Engineer to join our environmental compliance group. In this role, you will work directly with clients to navigate complex state permitting requirements across a range of environmental disciplines. This is a collaborative, client-facing position.

What You'll Do
  • Manage and prepare stormwater, air, solid waste, bulk storage, and other New York State permit applications and renewals
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for industrial facility clients on environmental compliance matters
  • Conduct site visits, compliance assessments, and regulatory agency coordination
  • Prepare technical reports, permit applications, and supporting documentation
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams to deliver comprehensive environmental solutions
What We're Looking For

Required

  • 5-7 years of experience in environmental compliance, permitting, or a related field
  • Demonstrated experience working with or on behalf of industrial facilities, either as an in‑house engineer or environmental consultant
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to manage client relationships
  • Access to transportation, valid driver's license, clean driving record.

Preferred

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license strongly preferred
  • Experience with Civil3D or similar CAD/engineering software
  • Familiarity with NYS DEC permitting processes and regulations

Physical Requirements: Must be able to perform field work and be able to carry 50+ lbs. There is walking, climbing stairs and ladders, reaching, lifting, and bending. In the latter case, the incumbent must be able to handle buckets of water. Periods of hiking, carrying equipment, swimming, and/or standing may be required. Some work requires the ability to maintain footing in fast-moving water.

Salary Range:
$80,000 - $115,000 Depending on Experience
