Viewcrest Health Center | Duluth, MN
Full-Time | Salary: $58,000–$62,000 annually

Viewcrest Health Center is seeking a dependable, organized, and service-focused Environmental Services Supervisor to lead our environmental services team and help maintain a clean, safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our residents, families, and staff.

This is a leadership position for someone who takes pride in high standards, enjoys working with people, and can effectively balance daily operations, team supervision, regulatory expectations, and resident needs.

About the Position

The Environmental Services Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of environmental services, including housekeeping, sanitation, and related facility cleanliness functions. This position provides leadership and direction to Environmental Services staff while ensuring that Viewcrest maintains a consistently clean, sanitary, and well-maintained environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise, train, schedule, and support Environmental Services staff
  • Coordinate daily housekeeping and environmental services operations
  • Ensure resident rooms, common areas, offices, and other facility spaces are cleaned and maintained according to established standards
  • Monitor sanitation and infection prevention practices
  • Maintain appropriate supplies, equipment, and inventory
  • Assist with purchasing and maintaining adequate environmental services supplies
  • Conduct routine inspections and follow up on areas needing attention
  • Ensure compliance with applicable health, safety, sanitation, and regulatory requirements
  • Work collaboratively with nursing, dietary, maintenance, and other departments
  • Respond to resident, family, and staff concerns related to environmental services
  • Help develop and maintain departmental policies, procedures, and cleaning standards
  • Participate in quality improvement activities and facility inspections
  • Promote teamwork, accountability, professionalism, and excellent customer service
  • Perform other duties as needed to support the operation of Viewcrest Health Center
What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate is a strong communicator and organized leader who can effectively manage competing priorities in a busy senior care environment.

Previous supervisory or leadership experience in environmental services, housekeeping, healthcare, hospitality, long-term care, or a related field is preferred. Experience working in a healthcare or long-term care setting is a plus.

Compensation

$58,000–$62,000 annually, based on qualifications and experience.

Benefits

Employees with an Employee Type of Benefit Eligible >60 hours/PP, who are regularly scheduled to work 60 hours or more per pay period, are eligible to enroll in benefits on the first of the month following or coinciding with 60 days of employment.

Benefit premiums for all voluntary deductions are paid by the employee through payroll deductions.
