Job description

Job Description
This position is for Environmental Science majors that are interested in utilizing regenerative agriculture practices including no-till, cover crops, planting a diverse mix of crops to support beneficial insects.
Student Garden managers will participate in weekly training meetings to develop skills needed for working in the garden and to set priorities for the week's work. Tasks include working in the organic garden and CNS greenhouse to raise crops from seed, maintaining the garden including watering and weeding, harvesting, maintaining the beds, fences, and hoses and mulch around the beds to reduce pests. A successful candidate will be committed to exploring regenerative agriculture practices applicable to Ithaca College's Organic Garden. Hours and work days are flexible.
