Salary/Pay Rate:

$1,270 per 1 credit with upward adjustment for years of service at Marist University. Pay may vary depending on credits pertaining to online, graduate, music, or lab courses.

Job Summary:

Dept. of Environmental Science & Policy in the School of Science invites applications for a Part-Time Faculty position in Environmental Law for the 2026 spring semester.  This is a 3-credit lecture course that is scheduled for Tuesdays 6:30-9 pm, January 27 - May 5.  The successful candidate will join a school characterized by a strong sense of community in which students are the central focus and faculty who are both accessible and approachable.

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications include an MA or MS in a closely related field.  Strong interest in undergraduate education and a commitment to excellence in teaching are essential.

Preferred Qualifications:

Preference for a JD, MSL, MJ, LLM or SJD.

Essential Functions:

Opportunities are available to teach in one or more areas across several disciplines over time. Teaching opportunities include undergraduate courses that may be available in both on-ground and online environments. Availability to teach during daytime hours is desired.
