Job Description
Position Summary:
The Magzamen and Schaeffer Laboratory is hiring to assist with field sampling campaigns as part of a research project funded by the CDC/NIOSH. These projects are focused on bioaerosol exposures and respiratory health among study participants. The successful candidate will play a role on the research team and will be expected to collaborate with other researchers.
Full Consideration date: May 20th, 2026
Work Unit: https://vetmedbiosci.colostate.edu/erhs/
Essential Duties:
The successful candidate(s) will aid in calibrating and deploying air sampling equipment in the morning and evening at various locations in Larimer County (e.g., Wellington). These technicians will also document field observations and take detailed notes related to the different sampling campaigns.
Conditions of Employment:
In person, 10 hours per week

Dr. Joshua Schaeffer
Minimum Qualifications:
Interested applicants should have completed biology and chemistry courses, and be able to drive.
