Job description

Oxford Solutions is working with a client seeking an Environmental Project Manager with strong technical expertise in stream and wetland delineations. This is a direct hire opportunity with a hybrid work schedule.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience leading environmental projects involving wetlands, streams, permitting, field investigations, and regulatory compliance. This role is well suited for someone who can manage projects from field assessment through reporting and client coordination while serving as a technical resource for stream and wetland work.

Responsibilities

  • Lead environmental projects focused on streams, wetlands, and related natural resources
  • Perform and oversee stream and wetland delineations, assessments, and field investigations
  • Prepare technical reports, permit applications, environmental documentation, and supporting materials
  • Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, deliverables, and client communication
  • Coordinate with regulatory agencies, clients, internal teams, and subcontractors as needed
  • Ensure work is completed in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local environmental regulations
  • Provide technical guidance to junior staff and project team members
  • Support fieldwork, data collection, documentation, and quality review of project deliverables

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Ecology, Natural Resources, Environmental Engineering, or a related field
  • 4+ years of experience leading environmental projects involving streams and wetlands
  • Strong technical expertise in stream and wetland delineations required
  • Experience with environmental permitting, field assessments, and regulatory documentation
  • Knowledge of applicable environmental regulations related to wetlands, waterways, and natural resources
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a consulting or project-based environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment
