We are looking for a Project Manager to run their own projects and lead a team of environmental scientists.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of environmental scientists, delegating work and supporting their technical development
  • Manage a full caseload of environmental projects from proposal through closeout, keeping scope, budget, and schedule on track
  • Serve as project lead on Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments, from client communication through final report delivery
  • Direct sampling programs across soil, groundwater, surface water, and soil gas, including QA/QC oversight and data evaluation
  • Prepare and review technical reports, ensuring findings and recommendations meet EGLE and ASTM standards
  • Conduct Baseline Environmental Assessments and prepare Documentation of Due Care Compliance, RespAP for Part 201/213 sites
  • Interpret vapor intrusion and PFAS sampling data and recommend appropriate next steps
  • Review junior staff reports and field notes for technical accuracy and appropriate regulatory approach
  • Select, schedule, and oversee subcontractors performing drilling, surveying, or laboratory analytical work

  • 6+ years in environmental consulting (commercial/industrial preferred)
  • Proven project management experience
  • Strong writing and communication skills
  • Working knowledge of ASTM standards and EGLE Part 201/213
  • Valid driver's license, proficient in Word/Excel
  • Current 40-hour HAZWOPER certification
