Job description

Job Purpose:
- The Program Assistant I at LIFESTREAM BEHAVIORAL CENTER is responsible for providing administrative and operational support to ensure the efficient functioning of programs within the organization. This role is pivotal in assisting program managers and staff in delivering high-quality services to clients, maintaining program documentation, and facilitating communication within the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the coordination and implementation of program activities and events.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date program records and documentation.
- Provide administrative support, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and managing correspondence.
- Facilitate communication between program staff, clients, and external stakeholders.
- Assist in the preparation and distribution of program materials and communications.
- Support data collection and reporting efforts to evaluate program effectiveness.
- Handle general inquiries and provide information about programs and services.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure program goals and objectives are met.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall mission of the organization.

Required Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in a related field preferred.
Required Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar administrative or program assistant role.
- Experience working in a behavioral health or social services setting is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with managing schedules, coordinating meetings, and handling correspondence.
Required Skills and Abilities:
