Job description

Position Summary
Odyssey is recruiting to fill a Sr. Acquisition Logistics position supporting the ISR Sensors Division (AFLCMC/WIN), at Wright Patterson AFB, OH. WIN is part of the ISR/SOF Directorate (AFLCMC/WI), who is responsible for equipping our war-fighters to win the fight. The Directorate executes a $22 billion acquisition portfolio developing, producing, testing, modifying, fielding, and supporting Air Force ISR and SOF platforms, and related sub-systems.
Responsibilities
Duties include, but not limited to:
  • Support with data gathering, data entry, and data analysis, use applicable automated systems, as well as apply knowledge of the acquisition process.
  • Provide a wide range of acquisition logistics (lifecycle logistics), analytical, technical and support services for programs managed by the ISR & SOF Directorate and AFLCMC/WIN Division.
  • Provide advisory support to develop integrated support requirements, and system and equipment design.
  • Assist with monitoring performance goals, parameters, and exit criteria, to include digital Government CONOPS.
  • Assist with reviewing logistics support elements and other logistics related efforts to monitor customer support and field assessment requirements.
  • Assist with Supportability Analysis (SA) tasks for Support Equipment (SE) and training devices and evaluate SA studies/plans.
  • Assist with evaluating the structure and data quality of the logistics support database and deliverable data products and summaries.
  • Assist with performance of all processes, procedures, and techniques necessary to develop a Life Cycle Cost Management (LCCM) and/or Design-to-Cost (DTC) program, to include Operations and Support (O&S) cost analyses and/or development of probable cost estimates.
  • Evaluate LCCM and DTC plans, trade studies, and unsolicited proposals.
  • Assist with providing logisticians the capability to conduct the orderly arrangement of all maintenance support, including SE, to keep systems and equipment ready to perform assigned missions.
  • Assist with ensuring provisions are made for survivability, corrosion control, nondestructive inspection, structural integrity, built-in test and performance monitoring, addressing environmental logistics impacts.
  • Assist with ensuring provisions are made for the integration of Manpower and Personnel (M&P) to include accomplishing analyses, writing reports, recommending actions, or performing any related tasks to provide the capability to identify military and civilian personnel requirements.
  • Assist the Government with identifying required tasks and skill levels in the development of operator and logistics support manpower requirements.
  • Assist with identifying, quantifying, and assessing the ILS/product support and sustainment elements as they relate to modeling databases and supporting M&P analyses.
  • Assist with accomplishing the integration of Supply Support (SS) principles and supporting analyses that provide the capability to accomplish all actions, procedures, and techniques necessary to determine requirements to acquire, catalog, receive, store, transfer, issue, and dispose of secondary items.
  • Assist with accomplishing the integration of SE to include the capability to accomplish all actions necessary to ensure all mobile or fixed equipment required to support the operation and maintenance of a weapon system is provided in a timely manner to the correct location at an affordable life cycle cost.
  • Support with the identification and execution of processes that will accomplish the tracking of the delivery of SE and recommend requirements for SE, including but not limited to software, data rights, computer resources, and technical data for the operational support phases to include test and evaluation.
  • Integration of technical data management to include applicable tasks that provide logisticians the capability to acquire the recorded information needed to translate system and equipment design requirements.
  • Engineering data management plan(s), technical order verification plans, and technical order management plans identifying potential engineering data requirements and data right claims.
  • Data/technical order guidance conferences and IPRs.
  • Requirements for manuals, reviewing, tracking, and monitoring verification and delivery of engineering/technical data.
  • Track and monitor technical compliance technical orders. Assist with identifying and reviewing deficiencies and engineering change proposals IAW the weapons system contract.
  • Assist with accomplishing the integration of training and training support in areas to include performing related tasks that provide logisticians the capability to manage and integrate the processes, procedures, techniques, and equipment used to train active, reserve, and civilian personnel to operate and maintain a weapon system throughout the system's total life cycle.
  • Support the definition/development of training system requirements and preparing development plan(s).
  • Assist with defining alternative training requirements to include follow-on crew and support personnel training.
  • Support with accomplishing the integration of computer resources support by providing support in areas to include performing related tasks that provide logisticians the capability to ensure the facilities, hardware, software, and personnel needed to operate and support mission-critical systems.
  • Prepare the command, control, communications, computers, intelligence support plan, IAW DoD and USAF guidance.
  • Assist with reviewing, tracking, and evaluating computer software development reports, schedules, and other documentation for TLCL.
  • Integrate facilities requirements by support in areas to include accomplishing analyses, writing reports, recommending actions, or performing any related tasks that provide logisticians the capability to ensure that all required facilities are available to operating forces and supporting activities.
  • Conduct site surveys and make recommendations regarding potential requirements for pre-operational and post operational facilities.
  • Assist with preparing facility requirements plans and supporting base and depot site activation task force meetings.
  • Integrate Packaging, Handling, Storage and Transportation (PHS&T) requirements by support areas.
  • Assist with identifying support requirements to include identification of hazardous materials, conventional munitions, and classified materials.
  • Assist with developing transportability reports, packaging management plans, transportation data reports, and traffic management plans.
  • Conduct Logistics Composite Model (LCOM) analysis.
  • Evaluate the impact of policy/program changes and validate logistics type models.
  • Support customer ad hoc tasks, as required.

Minimum Required Qualifications:
Citizenship: Must be a US citizen
Clearance: Secret
Education and Years of Experience:
  • Master's or Doctorate Degree in a related field and seven years of experience in the respective technical / professional discipline being performed, five years of which must be in the DoD.
  • OR bachelor's degree in a related field and 10 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, five of which must be in the DoD.
  • OR, 15 years of directly related experience with proper certifications, eight of which must be in the DoD.
