Bioanalytical Lab Analyst II, Clinical Research - Full-Time w/ benefits. Monday - Friday first shift schedule, Lenexa, Kansas (KS)

We're currently seeking a Lab Analyst II to join a team of bioanalytical professionals supporting groundbreaking clinical research.

As a Lab Analyst II you will be responsible for conducting analytical QC testing utilizing chromatography techniques like HPLC, as well as other techniques not limited to FTIR, Dissolution, Karl Fisher, Conductivity, Osmometer, liquid sampler, Disintegration, Visible Inspection, and Appearance. This role is essential in maintaining accurate data, adhering to standard procedures, and contributing to the overall success of the laboratory operations.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Performing laboratory tests and analyses in accordance with established protocols and procedures.
  • Routinely executing laboratory HPLC methods related to clinical studies.
  • Perform USP and EP test methods.
  • Participating in method development and validation, and qualification of compendial methods.
  • Assist in developing pharmaceutical formulations by testing various excipients, vehicles, etc.
  • Responsible for inspection, release and destruction of production materials, components, and chemicals to manufacturing facility; including intermediates.
  • Responsible for sampling Raw Materials in an ISO Classified environment; including preparation and shipment of samples to the required laboratories.
  • Operating and maintaining laboratory equipment, performing regular calibrations, and troubleshooting as needed.
  • Supporting quality control activities by participating in the review and verification of test results and procedures.

Your Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, or a related scientific field.
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar laboratory environment performing HPLC techniques. Clinical research of pharma environment strongly preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to follow protocols and maintain accurate records.
  • Basic proficiency in laboratory techniques and equipment operation, with a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities, with a proactive approach to supporting team objectives and deadlines.
