Location: Smyrna, Georgia (Onsite)
Role Overview
An Environmental Laboratory Analyst is responsible for testing environmental samples to determine the presence of pollutants and other contaminants. They analyze samples using specialized equipment and techniques. This role is critical in ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations.
Key Responsibilities

• Analyze samples, including process water samples, coal, fuel oil, and compliance water samples.
• Maintain accurate records, permits, and documentation required for environmental compliance and reporting.

Required Qualifications
Education: A bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, or Environmental Sciences is required.
Experience: Several years of experience performing laboratory analysis is necessary.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in laboratory testing equipment and safe lab practices is required.
Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with EPA methods or environmental analysis is a plus.

• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey technical information.
• Problem-solving abilities to address complex challenges.
• Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in documentation and compliance.
