Job Summary:
General Informatics is seeking a Systems Engineer to provide comprehensive technical support across multiple client environments. This role focuses on delivering excellent customer service while maintaining and improving client IT infrastructure through efficient problem resolution and system optimization.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Provide Level II help desk support for hardware and software issues
โ€ข Deploy and maintain desktop and laptop environments
โ€ข Install and configure standard software applications
โ€ข Manage system updates, patches, and upgrades
โ€ข Support network infrastructure and security systems
โ€ข Work across multiple client environments
โ€ข Configure and troubleshoot network equipment
โ€ข Manage Active Directory and Office 365 environments
โ€ข Support Windows Server and desktop operating systems
โ€ข Assist with virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V)
โ€ข Create and maintain detailed ticket documentation
โ€ข Coordinate with clients on issue resolution
โ€ข Support sales team with technical designs
โ€ข Follow established support procedures
โ€ข Participate in 6-week on-call rotation
โ€ข Configure networking equipment (SonicWall/Ruckus/Cisco/Unifi)
