As a mental health counselor working via telehealth, you will utilize state-of-the-art technology to engage with clients, ensuring they receive the support they need regardless of location.

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to develop personalized therapy plans tailored to each client's unique circumstances.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions for individuals, couples, families, and groups, utilizing modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused therapy.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals to ensure holistic client care and to address any co-occurring conditions effectively.
• Maintain meticulous clinical documentation and ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards to safeguard client confidentiality.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and training to remain abreast of emerging mental health practices and interventions.

Your role will involve working with a broad spectrum of clients, including those with limited access to mental health care. You will provide assistance to individuals and families dealing with various mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges, fostering an environment where they feel safe and supported.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) within the state of Connecticut.
• A minimum of two years of clinical counseling experience, demonstrating effective therapeutic practices and successful outcomes.
• A strong foundation in ethical guidelines and legal standards governing clinical mental health practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to form strong rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance use treatment is highly preferred.
• Experience working within a collaborative healthcare environment is advantageous.
• Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and related technologies is essential for managing client documentation efficiently.

• Annual salary ranging from $70,000 to $90,000, commensurate with experience and caseload.
