Description
Our MEG Team within the Department of Radiology is looking for a postdoctoral researcher to lead and support research activities focused on mapping cerebellar-thalamic-cortical networks in patients with cerebellar disorders using advanced multimodal neuroimaging techniques. The position will involve acquisition, processing, and analysis of data from OPM-MEG and conventional clinical SQUID MEG, as well as collaboration with teams analyzing functional MRI and stereoelectroencephalography (SEEG) data.
Responsibilities include OPM-MEG system hardware and workflow development, collaborating with study coordinators to support research participant scanning, developing and implementing signal processing and source localization methods, preparing manuscripts and conference presentations, assisting with grant-related activities, mentoring trainees, and contributing to collaborative translational neuroscience research.
Qualifications
Required:
- PhD, MD/PhD, or equivalent doctoral degree in Neuroscience, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience with neuroimaging, electrophysiology, signal processing, computational neuroscience, or related quantitative research methodologies.
- Demonstrated programming and data analysis experience using scientific computing tools such as MATLAB, Python, or similar platforms.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred:
- Experience with MEG, EEG, source localization, functional MRI, stereoelectroencephalography (SEEG), or related neuroimaging modalities.
- Experience analyzing neural time-series data and applying advanced statistical methods.
- Experience working in multidisciplinary research environments and contributing to collaborative research projects.
