Excellent opportunity to join a specialty chemical plant as Operations/ Production Manager to lead, direct, and provide technical support to the production teams for multiple Production Units. You will ensure that product quantity, quality, and production efficiency meets the goals and priorities. and all applicable Safety and Regulatory requirements are compliant. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

--- Perform day-to-day production initiatives – productivity tracking to meet production targets, following product quality to meet operational targets, daily housekeeping, employee training and development, maintenance priorities, follow through of established PM programs, administrative duties, and departmental communication.

--- Management and Leadership of 10-30 personnel to include Operations, Maintenance, and E&I staff

--- Production Yield Tracking

--- SOP development/ Batch sheet Improvements

--- Management of plant operation/ maintenance budget

--- Implement CAPA processes

--- Conduct Risk Assessments

--- Chemical Process troubleshooting with Deviations

--- Manage In-Plant Inventory

--- Implement and maintain compliance of Environmental (Air, Water, Waste) and OSHA Regulations for production units


Qualifications

--- BS Chemical Engineering degree with 8+ years of experience working as a Production Engineer/ Manager in Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Pulp & Paper or related PSM Manufacturing Plant.

--- Experience in Batch Process Chemical Manufacturing including Cycle times/ Equipment Capacity

--- Extensive background in compliance of environmental, OSHA/ PSM/ ISO 9001 regulations

--- SPC/ SQC functional understanding

--- Work Authorization: United States
