Summary
Pay: $14.00-$20.00/hour, based on education and experience


Schedule: Monday-Friday


We are looking for a caring, dependable, and enthusiastic Assistant Teacher to join our
team at our Watkinsville, Athens, and Bogart locations. As an Assistant Teacher, youll
play a key role in creating a warm, nurturing, and engaging classroom. Youll bring
learning to life through hands-on activities, ensure a safe and caring environment, and
build meaningful connections with children and families. This is a wonderful opportunity to

Responsibilities
Support the Lead Teacher in delivering daily lessons and routines using the Frog
Street curriculum
Assist with caregiving tasks, including diapering, toileting, and meal routines
Help maintain a clean, organized, and engaging classroom environment
Assist with classroom management and encourage positive behavior
Supervise children during indoor and outdoor play, meals, rest time, and transitions
Foster relationships with students and families through kind, professional
interactions
Ensure compliance with state licensing requirements and school policies


Qualifications
CDA, TCC, or experience working toward an early childhood education credential
preferred
GED or High School Diploma required
At least 6 months of experience in a licensed childcare setting (or strong desire to
learn)
CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
Must pass all required background checks and meet DECAL requirements
A team-player attitude with a love for working with children
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and stay actively engaged throughout the day
