Jet Press Operator - Job Description
We are currently seeking an experienced Jet Press Operator to join a fast-paced printing environment. This position is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining 2-color and 4-color Halm high-speed envelope presses while ensuring quality, efficiency, and production goals are consistently met.
The ideal candidate is a self-motivated printing professional with strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a production setting.
Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate 2-color and 4-color Halm high-speed envelope presses
  • Monitor print quality, color consistency, and registration throughout production runs
  • Read and interpret job tickets and customer specifications accurately
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot press-related issues
  • Maintain production schedules while minimizing downtime and waste
  • Ensure all finished products meet quality standards and customer expectations
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Assist with training or supervising press assistants/operators when needed
Qualifications
  • Previous experience operating Halm envelope presses preferred
  • Strong understanding of printing processes, ink systems, and press mechanics
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Leadership or supervisory experience is a plus
