Job Title: Senior Roof Consultant (RRC)
Ideal candidate will sit in Alexandria, VA or Atlanta, GA area.
Dedicated Roof & Hydro-Solutions, an ATS company, is seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Senior Roofing Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide expert-level consultation and project management on roofing systems for a variety of clients, including commercial, industrial and multi-family residential properties. This role involves conducting roof, exterior wall, and waterproofing evaluations; preparing detailed reports; creating repair or replacement bid packages; and overseeing construction projects from start to finish. The Senior Roofing Consultant is also responsible for client relationship management and development thereof.
Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate, design, and manage roofing and building envelope projects for commercial, industrial, and multi-family residential facilities.
  • Conduct detailed roof inspections and investigations, condition assessments, and forensic evaluations.
  • Oversee construction projects to ensure work meets bid packages, timelines, and industry standards.
  • Develop repair or replacement bid packages and cost estimates.
  • Prepare detailed plans, bid packages, and reporting.
  • Perform quality assurance observations during roof construction or repair projects to ensure compliance with bid packages or plans and specifications by others.
  • Provide expert guidance on roof, exterior wall, and waterproofing systems, materials, and industry best practices to clients.
  • Interface with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Stay current with industry trends, materials, and code compliance.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Experience and Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience with client services regarding roofing, waterproofing, and exterior wall consultation.
  • Professional license in Engineering/Architecture or recognized industry credentials such as RRC, RWC, REWC, etc., are a plus.
  • Proficient in writing and editing of project bid packages and technical reports.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Expert in project management practices.
  • Strong client-relationship building skills, with a focus on developing and maintaining partnerships within the local service area.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Willingness to travel and coordinate with team members, on short notice at times.

Additional requirements:
  • Ability to learn and comply with all company policies and procedures.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel) and Adobe.
  • Must have a valid driver's license in state of residence with a clean driving record.
  • Applicants must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Work Conditions:
  • Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection.
  • Work from heights on rooftops, scaffolding, ladders, elevated platforms, man-baskets, etc.
