Position Overview

Dhaka Technologies Limited is seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex, enterprise-level technology and business transformation initiatives for one of its clients.

The selected candidate will be responsible for managing large-scale projects from initiation through delivery, ensuring alignment with business objectives, technical requirements, governance standards, budget expectations, and stakeholder priorities. This role requires a senior project leader with strong experience managing cross-functional teams, executive stakeholders, vendors, technical delivery teams, risk controls, project governance, and full lifecycle implementation activities.

The ideal candidate must be capable of operating in a high-accountability environment, driving execution across multiple workstreams, resolving complex delivery challenges, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, within budget, and according to established quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead complex enterprise projects from initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closure.
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, milestones, dependencies, deliverables, budgets, and resource plans.
  • Define project scope, objectives, success criteria, governance structure, communication plans, and delivery methodology.
  • Manage multiple project workstreams, cross-functional teams, vendors, technical resources, business stakeholders, and executive sponsors.
  • Drive project execution and ensure deliverables are completed on time, within scope, and in accordance with quality expectations.
  • Identify, track, manage, and escalate project risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies, and decisions.
  • Maintain project RAID logs, status reports, executive dashboards, meeting notes, decision logs, and governance documentation.
  • Facilitate project meetings, steering committee sessions, executive briefings, sprint reviews, planning sessions, and stakeholder workshops.
  • Coordinate with business analysts, developers, architects, QA teams, security teams, infrastructure teams, operations teams, and external vendors.
  • Ensure project activities align with approved business requirements, technical architecture, security standards, compliance requirements, and organizational policies.
  • Manage project budgets, forecasts, burn rates, procurement activities, vendor deliverables, invoices, and contract-related dependencies.
  • Monitor project performance using KPIs, milestones, schedule variance, budget variance, delivery metrics, and quality measures.
  • Lead change management coordination, stakeholder communication, implementation planning, training readiness, and adoption support.
  • Ensure proper documentation of project scope, requirements, design decisions, testing outcomes, deployment plans, operational handoff, and lessons learned.
  • Support Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery models depending on project needs.
  • Drive accountability across delivery teams and ensure timely resolution of blockers, defects, dependencies, and implementation risks.
  • Provide strategic recommendations to leadership regarding project priorities, resource needs, delivery risks, and process improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with project management standards, PMO governance, SDLC processes, procurement guidelines, and enterprise reporting requirements.
  • Lead post-implementation reviews and recommend improvements for future delivery efforts.

RequirementsRequired Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; equivalent professional experience may be considered.
  • 12+ years of professional project management experience.
  • 8+ years of experience managing large-scale IT, software development, systems implementation, infrastructure, modernization, or enterprise transformation projects.
  • Proven experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders, vendors, technical teams, business units, and executive sponsors.
  • Strong experience managing project scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks, issues, dependencies, and quality controls.
  • Demonstrated experience leading full project lifecycles from initiation through implementation and operational handoff.
  • Experience managing projects using Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, application development, systems integration, testing, deployment, production support, and change management processes.
  • Experience preparing executive-level status reports, steering committee materials, project dashboards, and governance documentation.
  • Strong experience managing RAID logs, project plans, resource plans, budget trackers, communication plans, and project artifacts.
