Job description

Job Purpose: To produce envelopes on folding machines that meet company quality standards while maintaining optimum speeds and minimal downtime
Main Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
1. Check work of previous shift for quality & correctness and notify supervisor of any issues
2. Check the quality of the finished envelopes throughout the job by following company quality control procedures and correct issues as necessary to maintain and/or achieve the quality standards
3. Change machines between sizes, styles, windows, gum, and printing from one job to the next with minimal downtime
4. Keep machines running at optimum speed to meet or exceed production targets while maintaining quality standards
5. Identify machine malfunctions, troubleshoot, and correct in a timely manner
6. Notify a supervisor promptly when machines need maintenance/repairs above what can be completed by the adjuster
7. Work as a team with other adjusters and operators to accomplish shift goals
8. Assist Envelope Machine Operators with their duties when necessary and/or when available
9. Keep envelope folding machine and area around machine neat & clean
10. Fill out production paperwork and pull samples as directed
11. Communicate with outgoing shift and incoming shift regarding equipment status, job status, and any other relevant information
12. Perform routine maintenance and general repairs on envelope folding machines as directed by supervisor
13. Duties include standing for most of the shift, repetitive hand & wrist motions, reaching with hands and arms, regular lifting of up to 75 pounds, and possibly working overtime
14. Perform other duties as assigned by management from time to time
15. Execute the responsibilities of this position following company safety policies and company procedures
