Objective
Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving, and adhering to safety policies in all work environments and areas. Ensures all aspects of his/her role are executed in a safe manner. Obeys safety guidelines when on public roads, construction sites and Centex Materials operations.
Working in an impressive variety of settings, the quality control technicians are responsible for maintaining quality-assurance processes, testing products and recording/analyzing results during product development, manufacturing, and delivery. The products being tested range from concrete materials; fresh concrete to hardened concrete. Quality Control Technicians follow through on set processes and ensure adherence to best production practices and product quality standards, as well as monitoring the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of product output. Quality Control Technicians work as part of an integrated team, excellent interpersonal communication skills are crucial. Quality Control Technicians will be required to obtain ACI & TxDOT Certifications.
Responsibilities

  • Troubleshooting, Problem Solving, Report Drafting

  • Conduct Inspection of Plants and Fleets

  • Proportioning of Concrete Mix Designs/Trial Batches

  • Processing and Filing Test Results

  • Laboratory Procedures

  • Statistical Evaluation of Strength Data

  • Specification Review

  • Assist with Implementation of QMS

  • Implementation of personnel Training Programs

  • Analyze, Review and Adjust Mix Designs
