Registered Dental Assistant

Job Description

Clinical Support: Assist the dentist during exams and procedures; provide appropriate instruments and materials.
Patient Care: Record medical histories and vital signs; ensure patient comfort before, during, and after appointments.
Sterilization & Hygiene: Maintain instruments, equipment, and operatories following strict infection control and autoclaving protocols.
Technology: Take dental radiographs (X-rays) and intraoral photographs; utilize digital scanners (training provided).
Operations: Prepare treatment rooms/trays, manage lab cases, and maintain accurate clinical documentation (HIPAA compliant).
Team Collaboration: Coordinate with the front desk for patient flow and provide administrative support as needed.

Salary Range

Part-time $22 - $30 per hour

Shift & Schedule

Tuesday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch)
Mondays: 1–2 per month

Requirements
  • Basic life support
  • Cardiopulmonary resuscitation
  • Experienced Dental Assistant (1+ years)
  • Infection Control License
  • X-ray / Radiography Certification

Certifications: CPR Certification (Required). X-ray and Infection Control certifications are highly preferred.
Skills: Strong communication, attention to detail, and a team-oriented mindset.
Experience: Previous dental experience is a plus, but entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.
Location: Must be able to commute to or relocate to Santa Rosa, CA 95403 before starting.
