This position with Duininck Concrete offers the opportunity to perform field and lab tests on ready-mix concrete to ensure compliance with ACI, ASTM, and DOT standards. This entry-level role provides hands-on experience in concrete testing and mix performance evaluation.
The Role:
  • Conduct slump, air content, unit weight, and temperature tests.
  • Collect and document concrete samples from production sites.
  • Assist with mix adjustments to maintain quality.
  • Maintain and calibrate testing equipment.
  • Accurately record and report test results.
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures.

Work Environment:
  • Must be willing to work early mornings, some nights, and some weekends
  • Travel as required

What we Look For:
  • Individuals who work safely and have the courage to speak up if you see unsafe behavior or conditions.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to obtain ACI Concrete Field-Testing Technician - Grade I certification within 12 months of hire.
  • Ability to obtain MnDOT Plant/Agg/Field/Strength certification within 12 months of hire.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors
  • Valid driver's license (regularly required to drive and navigate to job sites)
  • ACI Concrete Field-Testing Technician - Grade 2
  • MnDOT Plant/Agg/Field/Strength certified
  • NRMCA Certified Concrete Technologist, Level 3
  • NRMCA Certified Concrete Technologist, Level 4
