Job description

As a Lab Assistant/Phlebotomist at CentraCare, you will support the laboratory team by creating an atmosphere of trust and confidence with patients by performing essential pre- and post-testing tasks-including phlebotomy-to ensure accurate, timely patient care for patients of all ages. Engages with patients, families, and team members using Family Centered Care principles while maintaining a strong focus on safety and quality. 

This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for individuals beginning or pursuing a healthcare-related education-offering hands-on experience and exposure to real-world laboratory practices!

SCHEDULE & PAY:

  • Full time | Temporary Summer only position working 64 hours every two weeks
  • Days | Monday - Friday | 6:30am- 3:30pm
  • No weekends 
  • Starting pay begins at $19.15 per hour and increases with experience
    • Pay range:  $19.15-28.71 per hour
       

QUALFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or GED or equivalent
