Performs Human Resources related duties at the professional level and may carry out responsibilities in some or all of the following functional areas:  recruiting, employee relations, employment and training.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Partners with employees and management to communicate various Human Resources policies, procedures, laws, standards and government regulations.
Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment.
Sources candidates, screens and recruits job applicants to fill entry level, professional and technical job openings.
Reviews applications and interviews applicants to match experience with specific job related requirements.
Conducts new hire orientation.
Performs benefit administration to include change reporting and communicating benefit information to employees.
Conducts benefits orientation to employees.
Facilitates and/or provides training to the workforce.
Maintains and coordinates employee recognition programs
Responds to employee relations issues such as employee complaints, harassment allegations, and civil rights complaints.
Conducts exit interviews, analyzes data and makes recommendations to the management team for corrective action and continuous improvement.
Represents the company for unemployment claims.
Other duties may be assigned.
