Job description

Senior Housing Partners (the project development company of Presbyterian Homes & Services) is seeking a Real Estate Development Analyst to join their team.

The Real Estate Development Analyst supports the planning and execution of senior housing development and acquisition projects by providing analytical, administrative, and project coordination support to the Director of Development and Senior Housing Partners leadership. This role contributes to informed decision-making, efficient project execution, and responsible growth of the development pipeline.

This is an in-person (Monday-Friday) position in Roseville, MN.

REPORTING STRUCTURE
The Real Estate Development Analyst reports to the Director of Real Estate Development.


As an entry-level position, the Real Estate Development Analyst gains hands-on exposure to real estate development fundamentals while helping advance projects that create safe, affordable, and impactful housing solutions for older adults. 

Key Responsibilities included but are not limited to:

  • Provide project coordination and administrative support to the Senior Housing Partners Leadership Team, Development Managers, and Acquisitions Manager across all phases of development and acquisition projects. 
  • Partner with the Director of Business Development to proactively identify, research, and track on-market and off-market land and acquisition opportunities, maintaining an up-to-date development pipeline. 
  • Conduct market research, site analysis, and feasibility assessments to support site selection and acquisition decisions. 
  • Collaborate with Development Managers and the Acquisitions Manager to support project underwriting, including developing preliminary pro forma financial models and valuation analyses. 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, real estate, finance, urban planning, or related field (or equivalent experience). 
  • Prior internship or entry-level experience in real estate development, finance, construction, or a related field preferred but required; training provided. 
  • Interest in real estate development and a desire to learn the fundamentals of senior housing development. 
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret financial and market data. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; experience with financial modeling preferred. 
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. 
  • Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate documentation. 
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external partners.

  • Ability to travel 20%  to project sites, meetings with partners, and other development-related activities. 
  • Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language to communicate with all customers. 
  • Demonstrated compatibility with PHS’ mission and operating philosophies. 

The estimated starting pay range for this role is $30.00- $37.00 per hour. This good faith estimate is based upon PHSs typical starting pay range for this role. Actual pay range depends upon many factors including each individual employees qualifications and market conditions and is subject to change.

Full-time benefits-eligible employment begins at a minimum of 30 hours per week:
