Fixed Income & Liquidity Solutions Overview

Fixed Income and Liquidity Solutions, within Public Investing, manages more than $1.7 trillion* in assets for a variety of clients, including private wealth mandates and institutional clients such as insurance companies, pension funds, and endowments. The team has a long history of investing across public fixed income strategies including rates, currency and credit on behalf of our clients. Investment ideas are created through collaboration between portfolio managers, research analysts, and traders.

Role Overview

The Municipal research team works closely with the portfolio managers/traders covering credit review and analysis for the municipal platform.  The team manages in excess of $170bln across various instruments including separate accounts, mutual funds and ETFs.  Credit review responsibilities are across all municipal sectors and from high grade to high yield credit quality.   

Responsibilities

  • Review investment grade municipal bonds to assess credit-worthiness 
  • Reviews include new market issues, surveillance and event driven analysis
  • Help develop and assemble presentation materials 
  • Track rating agency action and general municipal news 
  • Help to build technology solutions 

Qualifications

  • BS/BA degree
  • 2-3 years' work experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills 
  • Experience reading financial statements 
  • Strong tech skills including excel, AI experience a plus 
  • Rating agency or municipal buy-side experience a plus
