The anticipated salary range for this role is between $67,000.00 and $80,000.00. The specific salary offered to an applicant will be based on their individual qualifications, experiences, and an analysis of the current compensation paid in their geography and the market for similar roles at the time of hire. Role Description

The Analyst, Capital Markets Sales Support Middle Office role will join the Sales MO function within Derivative Operations to support the front office as they continue to grow their business with hedge funds and investment advisors. This role is designed as an entry-level position and will focus on developing a strong understanding of the trade lifecycle, operational controls, and Sales Middle Office responsibilities.

The Analyst will work closely with Associates, Vice Presidents, Front Office, Back Office, and Technology teams to ensure accurate trade capture, timely processing, and adherence to internal policies and procedures. This role provides hands-on exposure to Capital Markets products, systems, and workflows, with an emphasis on learning, execution, and escalation.

Role Objectives
  • Review trade booking to ensure transactions are captured accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Perform end-of-day validation and completeness checks under supervision, escalating discrepancies as needed.
  • Assist with monitoring third-party platforms (e.g., MarkitWire, ICE) and internal systems for trade status and confirmations.
  • Support the processing of trade allocations, affirmations, and lifecycle events.
  • Assist in identifying trade breaks and support cancel and correct activity with appropriate escalation.
  • Provide support to senior team members on trade, settlement, and client-related inquiries.
  • Assist with client onboarding activities, including coordination with internal stakeholders such as Legal, Credit, Tax, and KYC.
  • Support investigations into sales credit discrepancies and assist with data gathering and reporting.
  • Assist in testing activities related to system enhancements and process improvements.
  • Assist in drafting, reviewing, and maintaining daily procedures and documentation.
  • Ensure adherence to internal policies, procedures, and control frameworks.
  • Participate in process documentation and continuous improvement initiatives as part of professional development.
Qualifications and Skills
  • 0-2 years of experience in a financial services, operations, or support role.
  • Bachelor's degree required; degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Demonstrated interest in Capital Markets, derivatives, or financial products.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Willingness to learn complex systems, workflows, and regulatory requirements.
