  • 40 hours/week, 9 Month Assignment

A leading digital streaming network seeks a Financial Analyst to support its Financial Planning & Analysis team by processing purchase orders and payments, maintaining financial data integrity, supporting forecasting and reporting cycles, analyzing large datasets, and preparing financial insights and presentations for leadership.

Financial Analyst Responsibilities:

  • Create and manage purchase orders, ensure accurate coding and approvals, process invoices, support cash payments, monitor aging balances, and help ensure timely vendor payments.
  • Support financial planning and analysis activities, including monthly forecasts, annual budgets, long-range plans, month-end journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and KPI pacing reports.
  • Maintain data integrity across financial systems and reporting tools, pull reports as needed, and organize and analyze large datasets using Google Sheets, Excel, and other financial applications.
  • Prepare and update presentation decks for leadership by synthesizing complex financial data into clear, actionable insights, while supporting ad hoc analysis and rapid business decision-making.
  • Support financial operations and reporting improvements by learning and leveraging tools such as SAP, Longview, Tableau, and AI-powered solutions to improve efficiency and automate reporting where applicable.

Financial Analyst Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 1+ years of experience in finance, accounting, financial planning and analysis, or a similar quantitative role.
  • Advanced proficiency with Google Workspace, particularly Google Sheets and Google Slides, with experience using fundamental spreadsheet formulas such as VLOOKUP and handling large datasets.
  • Strong financial modeling, forecasting, analytical, and reporting skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to synthesize large datasets into clear insights for management and external partners.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and quickly learn new software and financial systems.
  • Experience with media, entertainment, or technology industries and AI tools such as Claude is preferred.

Shift:

  • Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm ET.
