Homebot is a Homeownership Platform for Lenders and Real Estate, Title & Insurance Agents that drives Client retention and Partner referrals. Homebot's "special sauce" is that it helps homeowners and homebuyers (aka: our customer's clients) to build wealth through homeownership. Our customers include Mortgage Lenders, Real Estate Agents, Banks, Credit Unions, Loan Servicers, Insurance agencies and Title Companies.
We need a Market Development Representative to continue to scale our Sales Team and qualify inbound leads. This opportunity offers an entry-level position within a dynamic and fast-paced organization. This is a full-time position based in our Denver, CO office. We have a hybrid work model in place where you will be expected to be in-office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays (with the option to work from home on Mondays & Fridays).
Compensation Philosophy: Homebot is committed to offering competitive pay and benefits that reflect industry standards and individual expertise. Compensation is determined based on a variety of factors, including skills, qualifications, and professional experience. In addition to base salary and bonus, all full-time employees are eligible to receive Equity Appreciation Rights (Stock Units) as part of their total compensation package, providing an opportunity to share in Homebot's long-term growth and success. The number of units and vesting schedule are typically determined within the first 90 days of employment, based on role, level, and contribution.
Compensation: This role has an annual targeted base salary range of $50,000 - $55,000, with variable compensation at a quota of $15,000 (with uncapped commission potential via our comp model).

What You'll Be Accountable For:
  • Lead Qualification: Evaluate and qualify inbound leads to determine their fit and readiness for the sales process. Book a demo or set a meeting depending on outcome.
  • Lead Nurturing: Develop and maintain relationships with leads through various communication channels, providing relevant information and resources.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with leads through phone calls, emails, and other channels to understand their needs and educate them on the company's products or services.
  • Information Gathering: Gather essential information about leads, such as budget, timeline, and decision-making process, to assist the sales team in the next stages of the sales cycle.
  • Collaboration: work closely with Sales & Marketing to ensure a smooth transition of qualified leads and refine lead generation and follow-up strategies based on feedback and performance analysis.
  • Reporting: Keep detailed records of interactions with leads and provide regular reports on lead qualification and conversion metrics.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry trends, product knowledge, and sales techniques to enhance performance.
  • Leveraging and mastering various tools, systems and applications that the broader sales teams use or have access to, including zoom info, salesforce, outreach, sales navigator and other tools that may come into use.

Experience & Qualifications:
  • 1 - 2 years worth of sales, or related experience converting inbound leads and other related functions.
  • Tech-Savvy: a quick learner who is comfortable using CRM software and leveraging various prospecting tools such as zoom info, salesforce, linkedin, outreach, nooks and other related applications.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with leads.
  • Sales Aptitude: Basic understanding of sales processes and the ability to identify potential opportunities.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple leads simultaneously. Speed to lead is mission critical.
  • Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively with all teams.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and strategies.
  • Customer Focus: A customer-centric mindset with a focus on providing value to leads.
