One of our practices is looking for an Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician to join their single-specialty group in Summerville, SC. Join a compassionate group who provide a team approach to patient care. Every member of our staff is focused on making the patient experience in our office individualized and meaningful. About the Practice:

The practice has been providing women in the Summerville and Charleston metro area with outstanding ob?stet?ri?cal and gynecological care for over 40 years. Currently, the practice has a large team of 8 OB/GYN physicians along with a great support staff. The practice performs deliveries and GYN surgeries at Roper Berkeley Hospital and Summerville Medical Center. Both facilities provided the practice with hospital and subspecialists support, NICU units, and the da Vinci robotic system for specialized surgeries. This is a great opportunity to join a large and established practice that allows for excellent career growth and a strong work/life balance. In addition, the practice has top notch experienced physicians that can provide solid mentorship to a newly graduating resident physician or an experienced physician who is entering private practice for the first time. Ideally, the practice is looking for a candidate that wants to stay and grow with the practice long-term.

Practice Highlights:

  • Large and top-notch group of 8 physicians in the practice
  • The practice has 2 office locations in Summerville
  • Practice has a strong patient base and has worked with patients from Summerville and the Charleston Metro area for over 40 years
  • Deliveries and GYN surgeries are performed at Roper Berkeley Hospital and Summerville Medical Center. Between both facilities, the practice has hospital and women's health subspecialists support, NICU units, and the da Vinci robotic system for specialized GYN surgical procedures.
  • Excellent balance of OB and GYN patients. Some high-risk patients and the practice has a solid mix of private and government payor patients.
  • High volume clinic patient census
  • Call rotation is 1 in 8 with hospitalist back up. Physicians perform about 10 deliveries per month.
  • Typically a half day of surgery per week and the practice does many in office minimally invasive procedures.
