11:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Summary: Responsible for operating machine tools and equipment to build or repair simple precision tools using technical drawing and instructions.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Applies basic and some intermediate skills to perform functions in the execution of existing procedures, techniques, tools, materials and/or equipment to the position within assigned area
• Resolves routine questions and problems, and refers more complex issues to higher levels
• Completes works assignments from blueprints, work orders, work plans, parts list, PCM's and detail parts.
• Performs uncomplicated assembly processes such as installing bushings or rivets, bonding details together, or painting.
• Runs uncomplicated 3rd axis parts with proven programs such as replacing cutters and inserts or entering / correcting offsets.
• Performs machining processes such as milling, drilling or reaming, cutting profiles, precision boring, honing, and taping holes.
• Runs parts with proven programs such as turning, facing, thread cutting, boring, parting, and tree panning.
• Lays out jobs while running manual machines making simple parts such as height gages, micrometers, taper measures / scales, scribes, dial calipers and other equipment.
• Sets up and completes deburr processes such as edge breaks, cleaning parts, blending out cutter transitions, cleaning parts, and using scotch brite and buffing wheels.
• Checks parts using measurement equipment such as height gages, dial calipers, scribes, micrometers, tape measures / scales, thread wires.

Education and Experience
• High School w/1 + years' experience or AA/AS/Technical School w/0-1 years' experience
