Job Description

We are looking to fill a position for Electrical Substation Design engineer in Sacramento CA.

Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience in the preparation of complete design and construction packages for the installation and modification of high voltage substations.
  • Ability to develop project plans to define scope, budget, schedule, resources, and evaluate technical bids for equipment utilized in the electric system.
  • Demonstrated specific skills should include design and layout of high voltage substations, protection and control schemes at substations and/or power generation facilities, SCADA, plan and profile drawings, one line, three line, elementary, schematic, and wiring drawing creation for high voltage substations.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of industry specifications, industry design standards, and applicable codes for the design of high voltage substations such as IEEE, ANSI, NEMA, etc.
