Curriculum InstructorIntroduction:

The Curriculum Instructor will be responsible for designing and delivering in-person, instructor-led training programs in a classroom and field-based setting. This role will focus on creating training programs for the hydro utility workforce, including mechanics, utility workers, equipment operators, welders, and other skilled trades.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct needs assessments and analyze training requirements for Hydro Operations.
  • Collaborate with team members to develop effective learning solutions.
  • Design and develop technical training programs for the hydro utility workforce.
  • Guide the use of appropriate learning technologies to enhance training effectiveness.
  • Coach and support Instructional Designers in course creation using the ADDIE model.
  • Manage project execution to ensure deliverables are completed on time and within budget.
  • Facilitate key project meetings and provide updates to stakeholders.
  • Track project status and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Collect and analyze training effectiveness metrics and apply continuous improvement strategies.
  • Archive course materials and complete project close-out activities.
Requirements:Required Skills:
  • Experience in classroom training and instructional design.
  • Knowledge of developing and delivering in-person training programs.
  • Ability to create project schedules and manage project execution.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
