Riverside Research is seeking a motivated and innovative Entry-Level Software Engineer to join our Sensor and Systems Business Unit in Fairfax, Virginia. This part-time role is open to individuals who are currently pursuing a degree or have equivalent experience in software engineering or a related field. The primary focus of this role will be on developing AI agents, conducting research on large language models (LLMs), and creating rapid prototypes to support our cutting-edge projects.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and refine AI agents, contributing to various stages of the development lifecycle.
  • Conduct research on large language models (LLMs) to explore new techniques and methodologies for enhancing AI capabilities.
  • Participate in the design and development of rapid prototypes, turning innovative ideas into functional software solutions.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, following best practices in software development.
  • Assist in debugging and troubleshooting software issues, providing support for testing and quality assurance processes.
  • Contribute to team discussions, bringing fresh ideas and perspectives to the table, and actively participating in brainstorming sessions.
