AQUATICS AID
Cyclical, $11.94/hr.
Our Aids are not certified lifeguards, but they do play a vital role in the safety and upkeep of the Pratt Aquatic Center. We'll teach you how to enforce center rules with a smile (including showering before entering pool); assist as a second set of eyes for safety purposes; assist with keeping the facility clean; and help our instructors during swim lessons.
As an Aid your typical work duties include:
- Assists with setup of swim lessons and/or acts as an assistant to swim instructors during lessons;
- Assists with setup of special functions and events. Moves equipment and material as directed;
- Provides assistance to cashiers and concessions operators under supervision;
- Monitors pool entrance to ensure individuals have showered prior to entry;
- Performs custodial duties as assigned including, but not limited to, emptying garbage cans, sweeping and mopping floors, washing facility equipment; and,
- Performs other duties as assigned.
