Logistics Specialist-Ju nior Level Nightwing is seeking a Junior Logistics Specialist who is eager to learn and progressively apply new skills across a broad range of logistics and operational requirements while working under the guidance of experienced logistics professionals. The candidate will work in a warehouse operations environment as part of a collaborative team. As a member of the logistics team, the Junior Logistics Specialist will gain hands-on experience supporting all aspects of goods and materials management.

Responsibilities include learning and assisting with receiving, inspecting, storing, issuing, and inventorying materials and equipment. The Specialist will also develop knowledge of materials transportation planning and execution, including packing, shipping, and tracking activities. Through daily operations, the Specialist will learn and apply workplace safety practices, inventory control procedures, and process efficiencies that contribute to a safe and productive work environment.

A successful candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, the ability to prioritize assigned tasks, and a demonstrated willingness to learn and grow within warehouse and logistics operations. Key Responsibilities: Daily work will require performing and supporting warehouse operations workflow: * Assist with warehouse management functions supporting the receipt, storage, and transportation of goods and materials; * Support materials transportation activities, including packing, shipping, and receiving functions; * Follow established procedures for the safe handling and storage of materials, including hazardous materials when required ; * Perform inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory records to prevent damage and loss; * Update inventory management systems to ensure accurate stock records and material accountability; * Support process improvement initiatives that enhance warehouse efficiency, productivity, and accuracy; Clearance Requirement: TS/SCI with Poly Required Skills: * Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team; * Ability to follow security guidelines related to material handling and movement; * Current forklift certification preferred or ability to obtain certification; * Strong communication and collaboration skills; * Ability to follow assigned tasks through completion and seek guidance when needed; * Good organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment; * Ability to work under deadlines while maintaining accuracy and quality standards; * Support warehouse safety requirements and report potential hazards; * Commitment to following established safety protocols and best practices; * Ability to perform basic equipment checks and report maintenance issues; * Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Word, and Excel, and the ability to learn new databases and applications; * Logistics team operations may periodically require work beyond traditional business hours. Must be willing to support operational requirements as neede d De sired Skills * Prior experience in a warehouse, inventory, logistics , supply chain, shipping/receiving, or related operational environment; * Familiarity with inventory management principles and material accountability practices.
