As a Visual Communications Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting that mission by managing and optimizing the digital communications that connect employees and visitors across Arthrex's global locations. This position combines communications strategy, content management, analytics, project coordination, and technology management to ensure impactful and engaging messaging is delivered through our digital signage network.

In this role, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the organization, manage content calendars and digital assets, analyze performance metrics, troubleshoot technical issues, and help drive communication initiatives that enhance the employee experience and support business objectives. We're looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys balancing multiple priorities, and is passionate about using technology and communications to make a meaningful impact across a global organization.

Main Objective: 

  • Manage, plan, analyze, and schedule content for digital signage channels to engage both internal and external audiences across global locations.
  • This role requires the ability to triage requests, maintain content calendar and library, track metrics, and oversee system functionality. Excellent communication, organization, and technical skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams across Arthrex are essential, as well as balancing a wide range of deadlines and priorities simultaneously.
  • Knowledge and Skill Requirements: Knowledge of the latest best practices for content management systems and digital signage software. Ability to troubleshoot technical, oversee system functionality, and provide user training and support.

Responsibilities:

  • Digital Signage Strategy & Execution Plan, schedule, and deploy content for digital signage across global locations. Analyze data for special projects requiring data gathering, research, reporting results, trends, and other strategic priorities.
  •  Track performance metrics for digital signage channels, using insights to refine strategies. Content Management, Distribution, and Scheduling Triage incoming requests for digital signage in JIRA project management system. Maintain content library and publishing calendar for digital signage and establish workflows and standards needed to ensure that the required content is up-to-date and available.
  •  Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to manage timelines and objectives for campaigns, meetings and events, and signage content. System Management Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that may arise with the digital signage system or escalate to internal teams or vendor as needed.
  • Collaborate effectively with AV and IT to oversee the functionality and technical updates of digital signage systems, system deployments, and ensure systems are properly set up and function efficiently.
  • Collaborate effectively with AV and IT to design and implement integrations with other systems, allowing for seamless data flow and functionality. User Training Provide training on digital signage best practices to team members for managing and deploying content

Requirements:

  • Communication Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in different time zones. Flexibility to adjust working hours to accommodate meetings with global partners in different time zones
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team Detail oriented with organization and project management skills
  • Must thrive in high velocity and constantly evolving work environment and have excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Must be self-motivated to prioritize and manage workload and meet critical project milestones and deadlines Intermediate experience in global content management, preferably in multinational organizations.

  • Intermediate knowledge of AV technology such as displays types and media players Intermediate knowledge of content management systems (CMS) for creating, scheduling, and distributing content and familiarity with CMS features
  • Intermediate experience with digital signage software preferred

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Marketing or related field 
  • 2+ years of experience, preferably with medical device company or agency equivalent with medical device or healthcare marketing accounts 
  • At least an intermediate Macintosh and/or PC computer skills are essential Proven organizational and content management skills
