Job Summary:
This position is afor a Vocal Music Teacher at Abraham Clark High School  for the 2026/2027 SY
Qualifications:




  • Possesses NJ Visual Arts or Career and Technical Education Teaching Certificate
  •  Knowledge of industry standards & literacy
  • Software Skills: High proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (specifically Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom)
  • Teach the technical and aesthetic fundamentals of digital photography, including ISO, aperture, shutter speed, and exposure
  • Instruct students on industry-standard photo editing and post-processing using Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom.
  • Evaluate student progress through project-based assessments, critiques, and portfolio reviews.
  • Ability to collaborate and develop strong, engaging lessons for students that promote STEAM, creativity, design thinking, and innovation.
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Experience designing project-based learning units where students act as a "PR crew" for district events.
  • Ability to guide students in creating a professional or digital portfolio for college or entry-level employment.
