Job description

We are seeking an experienced UX Researcher to support research for a new AI powered business assistant designed to help businesses and advertisers work more effectively.

This role will focus on rapid, tactical qualitative research using an established research panel of opted in business users. The researcher will own studies from initial research question through study design, moderation, analysis, synthesis, and final readout.

This is a highly collaborative role working closely with UX Research, Product, Design, and Engineering teams in a fast moving product environment. The ideal candidate is a strong qualitative researcher who can manage multiple studies, work independently, and translate findings into clear, actionable product recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate product team requests and research priorities into clear research questions and appropriate study methodologies
• Design and execute qualitative research including in depth interviews, diary studies, concept testing, usability studies, microsurveys, and ongoing engagement studies
• Develop discussion guides, screeners, task protocols, and other research materials
• Moderate remote live research sessions and design and facilitate asynchronous studies
• Analyze and code qualitative data to identify patterns, themes, and actionable insights
• Develop clear, evidence based readouts for Product, Design, Engineering, and Research stakeholders
• Partner with UX Researchers to ensure tactical studies complement broader strategic research initiatives
• Contribute findings to shared research repositories and synthesis across product areas
• Use AI enabled research tools to accelerate study design, moderation, analysis, synthesis, and readout development
• Manage research at a rapid cadence, potentially supporting studies weekly

Required Qualifications

• 3 to 7 years of qualitative UX research experience
• Hands on experience with in depth interviews, diary studies, concept testing, and usability research
• Strong remote moderation experience
• Experience developing research plans, discussion guides, screeners, and study protocols
• Strong qualitative analysis, synthesis, and insight development skills
• Experience producing actionable research readouts for Product, Design, and Engineering stakeholders
• Ability to independently manage research from initial question through final findings
• Experience working in a fast paced, cross functional product environment
• Bachelor's degree in social science, HCI, research, or a related field, or equivalent applied experience

Preferred Qualifications

• B2B, SMB, advertising, or business product research experience
• Research panel or research community experience
• Experience researching AI powered products or human and AI interactions
• Familiarity with AI enabled research tools, AI moderators, synthesis assistants, or similar workflows
• Experience with dscout or comparable remote research platforms
• Experience using AI tools to improve research speed and efficiency

This is an opportunity to conduct hands on research for an emerging AI product with real world business users. You will work across multiple product areas and gain experience with rapid research execution, panel based research, concept validation, and AI enabled research workflows. This role is well suited for a researcher who enjoys being close to the product, moving quickly from research question to actionable insight, and helping teams make better product decisions.
