AAA ClubLabs is seeking a collaborative, analytical, and highly motivated Mid-Level UX Researcher to join our growing UX Team supporting the Auto Club's digital ecosystem, including websites, native mobile applications, and emerging digital experiences across multiple lines of business.
This role will help drive user-centered strategy and design decisions through qualitative and quantitative UX research across products and services including Insurance, Membership, Travel, Discounts & Rewards, FinTech, Automotive Services and Education. The ideal candidate is experienced in conducting end-to-end UX research, synthesizing insights into actionable recommendations, and collaborating closely with stakeholders, designers, product managers, content strategists, and engineers throughout the product lifecycle.
This position reports to the UX Research Lead and plays an important role in advancing research operations, mentoring junior team members, and helping cultivate a mature research practice across the organization.
UX Research Strategy & Execution
  • Partner with stakeholders, product teams, designers, content strategists, and engineering teams to identify user needs, business goals, and research opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the UX Research Lead and cross-functional teams to conceive, design, and execute UX research studies across the full product and research lifecycle.
  • Plan, pilot, manage, moderate, and execute user research studies for websites, native mobile apps, and other digital channels.
  • Leverage AI tools including Gemini and Claude to increase research scope, velocity, reach and impact.
  • Conduct research supporting major lines of business including:
    • Insurance
    • Membership
    • Travel
    • Discounts & Rewards
    • Automotive Services and Education
    • FinTech

Quantitative Research & Analytics
  • Conduct quantitative UX research and digital experience analysis using tools including Quantum Metrics, Adobe Analytics, Tableau, Adobe CDP, Adobe AJO, Adobe Target and related analytics platforms.
  • Analyze KPIs, behavioral metrics, conversion funnels, personalization strategies, and path analyses to identify user pain points and optimization opportunities.
  • Support experimentation and optimization initiatives through insights derived from analytics and behavioral data.

Synthesis, Reporting & Insights Management
  • Analyze and synthesize qualitative and quantitative findings into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Write clear, concise, and compelling UX research reports and presentations for stakeholders, leadership audiences and other teams.
  • Communicate research findings, usability issues, and experience opportunities effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Capture, organize, tag, and maintain research insights and knowledge repositories using platforms such as Aurelius.

Collaboration & Research Operations
  • Collaborate closely with Product, UX Design, Content Strategy, Engineering, Analytics, and Marketing teams.
  • Support UX Research Operations (ResOps) including participant management, research governance, taxonomy/tagging, templates, documentation, and process improvement.
  • Mentor and support junior UX Researchers and interns.
  • Help promote research best practices and a user-centered culture across the organization.

Experience Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional UX Research experience conducting research for websites, native mobile apps, and digital products at a major company or enterprise organization.
  • Experience conducting UX Research across complex consumer-facing ecosystems similar to:
    • Insurance
    • Membership organizations
    • FinTech
    • Travel
    • Automotive Services
    • Discounts & Rewards
    • Education
  • Experience working within agile product development environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams throughout the product lifecycle: Jira, UX Research Platforms such as user testing, maze and confluence.

The starting pay range for this position is:
$99,500.00 - $132,900.00
Additionally, for full time positions, you will be eligible to participate in our incentive program based upon the achievement of organization, team and personal performance.
